I can't wait to see what happens tomorrow. In the morning, I need to get up and get Matthew started on sanding down the steps to the house. I need to eat, take a shower, take my medicine then check in on his progress. Once I've done these things, I need to get in touch with Ted. Apparently, his lovely and talented 19 year old daughter downloaded a particularly nasty virus on his computer and he's called me to save the day. I walked him through some steps this evening because all he was getting when he called me was the dreaded blue screen of death. Now, he can see his desktop, systray and Control panel. He can finally log into the Internet but is unable to retrieve or send any e-mail. I need to run some system checks to see what kind of damage was done then I'll have to repair his registry files. If all else fails, I'll have to reinstall his system back up that I put on disk for him about 3 weeks ago. Hope he didn't have any new toys installed since then! I think it'll be fine but I don't foresee spending any less than 4 hours over there tomorrow. I don't even want to think about the possibility of a defrag loop.
Anyway, great day! Tomorrow will be great, too. I can feel it.
Time to crash
