Sherri called me and told me that things have gone to sh*t since I left the company. She said that they can't get anything purchased and in on time anymore. They had to hire 4 people to replace me. Well, 2 they promoted from within and the other 2 came from outside. Nonetheless, she says that they miss having me there to help and fix things. Made me feel good to know that it took 4 people to replace me!

Disability called me. John said that they gave me another extension through the 26th of this month but that he is referring my claim to long-term today. He said that it will take them about 3-4 weeks to finish but that their ultimate goal is to not have a lapse in benefits. He also said that if I was approved for long-term that they would pay out on a monthly basis instead of bi-weekly like they are now. He also said that I won't have to do any of the running around to get paperwork filled out for them on a monthly basis anymore. The long-term benefit managers request any information that they might need directly from the doc instead of making me stress out to get paperwork in on time. This will be a big stress reliever because I won't have to worry about getting extensions or whether or not I will be able to pay my bills. Also, I'll be able to refinance my truck for lower payments once I get approved for long-term. BIG relief.

Still waiting on Mom to go to the bank for me so I can pay my bills today. It's like she doesn't care that the stress is killing me.

This too shall pass........
